Community (Circle) Engagement Manager - Volunteer position
Role description:
We are looking for a Circle Engagement Manager for our Circles & Community Growth team, at Lean In Network | Netherlands Randstad. In this role you’ll be the driving force behind building and maintaining our circles’ growth initiatives.
What is a Circle, you ask? The answer is incredibly simple: small communities that bring women together to build leadership skills, take action toward their goals, and cheer each other on along the way.
This is a volunteer role with a lot of external exposure and internal visibility that is responsible to co-create the circles’ community growth programs and inspire our members for achieving the objectives of the Foundation.
This volunteer role is expected to take around 3-4 hours per week. You will be part of a small but impactful team and will report directly to the Head of Circles & Community Growth.
Responsibilities:
Community Building: Dive into the depths of our Circle community needs. Build and maintain the drumbeat of our community growth programs. Develop and roll out innovative and fun strategies that keep Circle community members actively involved and enthusiastic.
Circle Content Strategy: Translate circle materials into easy-to-consume, snackable and insightful formats for our Lean In Connect website. Collaborate with our marketing team to craft and deliver engaging, relevant social media, newsletter and Lean In connect content that keeps conversations lively and the community buzzing.
Feedback Systems: Implement a robust feedback system to capture Circle member insights and continuously improve their experience.
Community Growth Performance Track community interactions and growth, using insights to refine and elevate the program's strategy.
Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure all Circle resources reflect our dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and are accessible to a broad audience.
LeanIn Connect Engagement: Provide a sustained engagement across LeanIn Connect venues like the Circle Leaders forum and the local Network page to promote Circles, and attract and engage circle members.
Success Story Sourcing: Work with the Circle Facilitator to scout circle success stories to promote both internally and externally. Partner with the Marketing team and other internal functions to contribute to internal and external editorial plans.
Volunteers Circle Coordination: Work with the Ops and Staff team to schedule and coordinate the monthly volunteers circle.

Check if you have the skills we need and apply:
Technical Proficiency: You have at least 2 years of experience in community building, skilled at assessing, implementing, and managing various growth and retention initiatives.
Communication Skills: Fluent written and spoken English. Your communication is exceptional, turning complex ideas into compelling content.
Collaboration and team coordination: you are a team player, keen to closely collaborate with other volunteers and functions to support our circles and their members' growth.
Organizational Skills: Able to manage projects autonomously
Time and dedication: able to commit at least 3 to 5 hours of your time a week
Must reside in the Netherlands.
