Independent Referral Contractor - Commission Only

This is not a job or an offer of employment. You'll contract with Collassist as an independent business under a written independent contractor agreement, with a reasonable opportunity to get independent advice before signing.
Collassist is a growing New Zealand company whose software automatically chases overdue invoices for Xero users. We're expanding our referral network across New Zealand. You introduce suitable NZ businesses on Xero that struggle with late payments; we run the demo, onboarding and support.
Commission
No salary, retainer, guaranteed income or minimum hours.
30% of subscription payments we receive (excluding GST; plus GST if you're registered), for up to 12 months from the customer's first paid payment, while they stay subscribed. The 12 months doesn't pause or restart.
Earned only if a business you register first in our lead tracker attends a demo within 60 days of registration, then subscribes and pays within 6 months of that demo. Nothing is earned during free trials.
Commission is adjusted if a payment is refunded.
Paid within 14 days of month end, against a statement you invoice. No cap.
You cover your own tax, ACC, GST and costs. Full terms are in the contractor agreement.
How you work
You choose who to approach, how and when, with no set hours or targets. You may subcontract and work for any other business. Declining leads or extra work won't end the arrangement. Outreach must comply with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.
Requirements
You'll need to trade through an NZ company, or as a sole trader with an IRD certificate of exemption or 0% tailored tax rate for schedular payments.
Optional resources
Product walkthroughs, a sample script and objection guide, researched lead lists, and a founder who runs every demo you book.
Who this suits
Independent B2B salespeople, credit controllers, bookkeepers and business consultants with small-business, accounting, bookkeeping or credit control connections. Familiarity with Xero or accounts receivable helps but isn't essential.
Previous B2B, SaaS, accounting-software or business-services sales experience would be useful.
