Role Description This is a full-time remote role in Investment Management at Pend. The role involves researching and analyzing investment opportunities across private equity, public markets, and alternative investments, with a focus on sectors including agriculture, real estate, AI, technology, exports, healthcare, manufacturing, and emerging investments. Day-to-day tasks include building and updating financial models, evaluating risk and return profiles, monitoring portfolio performance, and preparing clear investment reports and recommendations. The investment professional will collaborate with internal teams to refine investment strategies, support due diligence processes, and contribute to portfolio optimization. The role also includes staying current on market trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic conditions affecting Pend’s investment universe.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Investment Management and Investments, with experience evaluating diverse asset classes.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for financial modeling, data interpretation, and risk-return assessment.
Knowledge of Investment Strategies and Finance, including portfolio construction and valuation methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Proficiency with financial analysis tools and spreadsheets; familiarity with research databases is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
Interest in and awareness of sectors such as agriculture, real estate, AI, technology, exports, healthcare, manufacturing, and emerging investments.
