Role Description This full-time, on-site Software Engineer role is based in Haryana, India. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain core components of the MayOne Browser, focusing on performance, stability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing existing functionality. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, reviewing code, and participating in architectural discussions. The Software Engineer will also help improve development workflows, contribute to documentation, and ensure high-quality software through testing and code reviews.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern language such as C++, Java, or Python.
Hands-on experience in Software Development, including designing, implementing, and maintaining production-quality applications.
Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, services, and integration with browser or web-based systems.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site in Haryana, India, in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Experience with browser technologies, performance optimization, or security best practices is a plus.
