About us
Mdivani Agency is a small software and AI agency based in Tbilisi, Georgia. We design and build SaaS and web products for clients, from first version to ongoing development.
We are small on purpose. Each person owns real work end to end and has a say in how we build. We use AI coding agents heavily, and we care a lot about the human judgment that decides what gets merged.
The role
You will be a senior engineer on client products, working across the stack: data model, API, UI, and deployment. You will plan work from Linear tickets, build much of it with AI agents, review what they produce with a critical eye, and ship it.
What you'll do
Take features from a Linear ticket to production: clarify requirements, plan, implement, test, and ship.
Build with TypeScript, Next.js, React, Supabase (Postgres, auth, row-level security, storage), and AWS services, deployed on Vercel.
Work with AI coding agents to move fast, and review their output carefully before it goes anywhere near main.
Open PRs into development, respond to automated review (Bugbot), and prepare changes for the deeper review into main.
Touch infrastructure when needed: AWS services and Terraform.
Write short, clear updates and decisions in Slack, Linear, and Notion so the team and clients can follow along without meetings.
Help improve how we work: project rules, agent prompts, CI checks, and review checklists.
Must-haves
Senior-level experience with TypeScript, Next.js, and React in production.
Solid Postgres skills.
Experience deploying and running apps on Vercel.
Working knowledge of AWS and Terraform. You do not need to be an infra specialist, but you should be comfortable reading and changing it.
Fluent, day-to-day use of AI coding agents, and strong judgment when reviewing AI-generated code: you can spot what looks right but is not, and you know when to throw a result away.
Clear async writing. You can explain a decision in a few sentences.
Nice-to-haves
Experience at an agency or consultancy, or running your own freelance practice.
Building and maintaining CI pipelines (GitHub Actions), test suites, and branch protection.
Experience designing agent workflows: project rules, planning prompts, review packs.
Product sense and some design eye; comfort with Tailwind and shadcn-style components.
Payments, multi-tenant SaaS, or AI features (LLM APIs, embeddings, evals).
Georgian, in addition to English.
How we work
Async first. Most communication happens in Slack and Notion. We keep meetings short and few.
Linear for work. Every piece of work starts as a Linear issue with requirements and acceptance criteria.
CI is the source of truth. Lint, type-check, tests, and build must pass. AI review is additive, never a replacement.
Humans own the result. Agents write a lot of code here. You are responsible for what you merge.
