We’re looking for a Founding Head of Technology / CTO- ProPlayerPage
ProPlayerPage, operated by ProPlayer Ventures Private Limited, is building a digital career-record and discovery ecosystem for grassroots football in India.

We are now looking for a hands-on Founding Head of Technology / CTO to join the core leadership team and take ownership of our next stage of technology and scale.
What you’ll own:
Overall technology architecture & roadmap
Scalable backend, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure
Player identity, profile claiming & role-based access
Match/tournament data infrastructure
Search & discovery systems
Security, privacy & data governance
Building and leading the engineering team
Technical due diligence and future data/AI roadmap
Who we’re looking for:
5–10+ years of engineering experience, ideally with consumer, SaaS, marketplace or data-intensive platforms. Strong hands-on architecture/backend experience and a genuine builder + owner mindset are more important than having previously held a CTO title.
Participation
This is an equity-led founding technology role, not a conventional salaried Tech Head position.
We are open to:
• Sweat-equity participation for a full-time Founding CTO
• Equity + investment participation for someone who also wants to invest alongside joining the leadership team
• Limited initial cash compensation, transitioning toward market-aligned salary as the company raises capital and scales
Equity participation depends on experience, commitment and investment, with appropriate vesting and long-term alignment.
