We're hiring: Investment Analyst – Founder's Office | HSS Asset Management
At HSS Asset Management, we invest in India's emerging champions.
We're a lean, founder-led team, and we're building what comes next from the ground up. We're looking for an Investment Analyst to join the Founder's Office: someone who wants to learn how an investment firm is actually built, not just how a stock is picked.
What you'll do
→ Own equity research end-to-end: industry deep-dives, business model analysis, forensic accounting, financial models and valuation
→ Build and maintain coverage across our SMID-cap universe, from idea generation to investment memo
→ Pitch ideas directly to the partners, and defend them in debate
→ Track portfolio companies: results, management calls, channel checks and thesis milestones
→ Work alongside the founders on everything else it takes to grow a firm: investor communication, product and process build-out, operations and strategic projects
What we're looking for
→ Minimum 2 years of experience in the securities market (equity research, buy-side or sell-side, PMS/AIF, broking or related roles)
→ Strong command of unit economics, financial statements, modelling and valuation
→ Genuine curiosity about businesses, healthy scepticism, and clear writing
→ An ownership mindset: comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving team
→ CFA / CA / MBA (Finance) is a plus, not a prerequisite
