WE’RE HIRING | MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – STP
Xperteez Technology is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Sewerage Treatment Plants (STP), Water Treatment, or RO projects.
Location: Chennai
Experience: 8+ Years
Industry: STP / Water Treatment / RO
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design mechanical systems for wastewater treatment plants
• Prepare equipment layouts, piping layouts & mechanical drawings
• Design systems involving pumps, blowers, mixers, screens, sludge handling & aeration systems
• Select equipment based on plant capacity and process requirements
• Evaluate vendor technical specifications and prepare equipment datasheets
• Review and approve supplier drawings
• Perform pump sizing, pipe sizing, flow, pressure-loss & power calculations
• Prepare/review GA drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts & fabrication drawings
• Prepare material submittals and technical documentation
• Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Process Engineers and Contractors
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning & testing
REQUIRED SKILLS:

Equipment Sizing & Selection
Piping System Design
AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor
P&ID & GA Drawing knowledge
Vendor & Project Coordination
Site Installation & Commissioning Support
Ideal Candidate: Mechanical Design professionals with 8+ years of relevant experience in STP, wastewater treatment, water treatment, RO, or related EPC projects.
