Integration Engineer (NiFi + Groovy)

✅Integration Engineer - Apache NiFi & Groovy
We are hiring an Integration Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise data and application integrations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong Apache NiFi and Groovy experience who understands data movement, transformation, APIs, databases, and production integration environments.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Apache NiFi dataflows.
Write and maintain Groovy scripts for data transformation, validation, routing, and automation.
Integrate enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and external systems.
Work with JSON and XML payloads, schemas, mappings, and data validation.
Write SQL queries and troubleshoot data-quality or integration issues.
Monitor, debug, and improve production dataflows.
Collaborate with technical consultants, customers, and internal delivery teams.
Document integration logic, dependencies, and operational procedures.
Required qualifications
Professional experience with Apache NiFi in a production environment.
Strong Groovy scripting experience, preferably within Apache NiFi or JVM-based integration environments.
Strong SQL and relational-database fundamentals.
Experience working with JSON, XML, REST APIs, and data transformation.
Ability to troubleshoot integration failures and production issues.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
Preferred qualifications
Hands-on Oracle Database experience.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or another enterprise database platform.
Java or Python experience.
Experience with enterprise application integration, ETL, APIs, messaging, or data pipelines.
Experience supporting customer-facing technical projects.
✅Important note regarding database experience:
Oracle experience is preferred. Candidates with strong SQL and hands-on experience with another enterprise database platform may also be considered, provided they can learn the Oracle environment quickly.
