Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Udaipur for a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Accounts and Taxation. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements. The professional will oversee indirect and direct tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and income tax, ensuring timely filings, documentation, and adherence to statutory requirements. Responsibilities include supporting audits, coordinating with internal and external auditors, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, implementation of accounting best practices, and contribution to process improvements within the finance function.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong accounting and financial management skills, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, bank reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable management.
Candidates should possess tax-related skills such as GST compliance, TDS and income tax knowledge, return filing, and familiarity with statutory regulations and documentation.
Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with strong MS Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
Candidates should possess audit and compliance skills, including experience in supporting internal and external audits, maintaining proper documentation, and implementing controls.
Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to interpret financial data for decision-making and cost control.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors, and experience in accounts and taxation at a similar senior level, will be beneficial.
