Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Presales Engineer role based in Noida. The Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, prepare tailored solution proposals, and deliver technical demonstrations of VendiHalt’s smart retail platform. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams to design integrations, addressing technical queries from prospects, and supporting proof-of-concept deployments. The role involves gathering client feedback to improve solution offerings, ensuring security and performance considerations are clearly communicated, and providing ongoing technical support during the sales cycle. The Presales Engineer will also contribute to documentation, presentations, and enablement materials that help customers and internal teams understand the platform’s capabilities.
Qualifications
Strong Presales and Sales support skills, including requirements gathering, solution design, and customer presentations.
Hands-on experience with Technical Support and Integration of software or hardware systems, preferably in retail or IoT environments.
Knowledge of Security principles related to cloud platforms, connected devices, and online payment systems.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with APIs, data flows, and system architecture is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Comfort working in a startup environment, with adaptability to evolving priorities and customer needs.
