The role will be responsible for accurate costing, material estimation, quotations, and supporting production planning.Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate costing and quotations for rigid box packaging.
Calculate paper, grey board, material consumption, and wastage.
Estimate printing, finishing, and production costs.
Understand job specifications and determine material and production requirements.
Support production planning and coordinate with the production team.
Review estimated vs. actual costs and identify costing discrepancies.
Requirements
8+ years of relevant experience in rigid box/packaging industry – Mandatory
Strong practical knowledge of rigid box costing and estimation.
Good understanding of paper, grey board, printing, finishing, and production processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple costing requirements.
Key Performance Indicators
Accuracy of costing and quotations.
Timely completion of estimates.
Accuracy of material and wastage calculations.
Minimising costing errors and discrepancies.
Effective material and production planning.
