Job Description
Senior engineer ( 5 to 8+ years)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Key performance area:
1. Should know Sheet metal design & developments and manufacturing process like Turret punching , Laser cutting ,Press brake, Welding , Special process
2. Process Planning and new product development (NPD)
3. Exposure in sheet metal fabrication.
4. Engineering standards followed by selection of Raw Material & Fastner for the required products
5. Experience and knowledge relevant ASTM, ISO standard regulations, guidelines.
6. Creation of Bill of Materials Individual Components and Assembly Independently sheet metal components
7. Good Experience in Team center and release process (ECR and ECN)
8. Good approach in working with cross functional Teams and senior management.
9. Should Know special process knowledge like powder coating , plating , anodization.. etc
Skill Requirements:
1. Auto Cad , Solid works , GD&T
2. SAP or equivalent ERP knowledge
3. Problem-Solving: Ability to address customer issues promptly and find solutions collaboratively.
4. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in order processing, data entry, and report preparation.
5. Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for creating reports and presentations.
