Job description:
Position-Mechanical Engineer – Fresher / E5
Job Location-Vasai-East
Job timing-rotational shift(a work schedule where employees change their working hours such as switching between day, evening, and night shifts)
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Candidate
Fresher with good technical knowledge, willingness to learn, and interest in manufacturing and production operations.
Job Purpose
To support production operations, monitor manufacturing processes, ensure production targets and quality requirements are achieved, and coordinate with various departments for smooth production activities.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor daily production activities and machine operations.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per plan.
Monitor quality and process parameters during production.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Stores teams.
Maintain production records and reports. Identify and report machine/process issues to the concerned team.
Follow SOPs, safety procedures and company policies.
Support process improvement and productivity initiatives.
Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S in the production area.
Support shift production activities and other work assigned by the HOD.
Required Skill Set:
Basic Mechanical Engineering knowledge, Production Process Knowledge, Basic Computer/MS Excel, Problem Solving, Documentation, Machine Handling and willingness to learn.
Communication:
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to coordinate with production and cross-functional teams.
Functional Competencies
Production Monitoring, Machine & Process Understanding, Quality Awareness, Production Planning Support, Documentation, 5S, Safety Compliance, Basic Maintenance Understanding and Continuous Improvements.
