Oneday is an education technology platform designed to inspire and equip aspiring entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to turn their business dreams into reality. We are on a mission to redefine business education and are set to become the largest and the most practical business school in the world.
At the centre of the programme is the mentor relationship. Every student is paired one-to-one with a Founder who has already built what they're trying to build. That pairing is the most important thing we do.
The Role
As an Entrepreneur in Residence, you will mentor a portfolio of ambitious early-stage founders one-to-one. Through structured 1:1 calls, you will help them validate ideas, build their first product, win their first customers, grow revenue in the way that fits their business, and scale something that lasts.
This is not a side-of-desk advisory role. It is a serious commitment to supporting the next generation of founders — drawing on what you have already built, and giving it back at the moment it matters most in their journey.
What You'll Do
Give direct, experience-led advice on launching and scaling a business in your sector — from idea validation to product, growth, hiring, revenue, and operations.
Hold founders accountable to commitments and outcomes, with the candour they'll struggle to find anywhere else.
Review and feed back on practical assignments tied to milestones in their company-building journey.
Bring your network when it matters — warm intros, hiring leads, customer conversations — at your discretion.
The Community You'll Join
Our mentor community is made up of founders who have built meaningful, revenue-generating businesses — whether that route ran through venture capital, bootstrapping, or something in between. What unites this group isn't how the capital was raised; it's that they built something real and know what it actually takes.
You will join a peer group of accomplished entrepreneurs across sectors with regular opportunities to collaborate, exchange playbooks, and access early dealflow from the founders we work with.
Who We're Looking For
Founder of one or more businesses that have reached significant scale — we typically look for seven- and eight-figure revenue and up, built through fundraising, bootstrapping, or a mix of both.
Deep tactical expertise in identifying and validating ideas, building product, and driving early growth — in any sector, not just tech.
A serious commitment to lean, outcome-focused company-building — not theory.
Outstanding judgement and people skills. The best mentors are direct, generous, and patient with the realities of early-stage building.
Prior mentoring, advisory, or angel-investing experience is a strong signal
Lived experience navigating barriers to building a business — whether that's limited access to capital, networks, or opportunity — is a real asset here, not a gap. Founders who've had to build differently often have the sharpest instincts for the founders we work with.
Experience building in sectors including:

Events, community and experiences;

Time Commitment
