Role Description This full-time on-site Automotive Trainer role is based in Bengaluru and focuses on developing the technical capabilities of service personnel across VOC’s two-wheeler dealership network. The Automotive Trainer will conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions on automotive technology, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Responsibilities include preparing training materials, delivering structured modules, and assessing participant performance through tests, practical evaluations, and feedback sessions. The role involves updating training content to reflect new models, technologies, and service standards, and collaborating with service managers to identify skill gaps and training needs. The Automotive Trainer will also maintain training records, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and support continuous improvement in service quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Automotive Technology and practical Automotive Repair skills, specifically related to two-wheelers.
Candidates should possess experience in Curriculum Development for technical training programs and be able to structure clear, outcome-based learning modules.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the Automotive industry, including service operations, diagnostics, and maintenance standards.
Candidates should possess Teaching skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, facilitate workshops, and adapt to different learner levels.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience as an automotive trainer, technical instructor, or senior technician is beneficial.
Strong communication skills, proficiency in English and local languages, and the ability to engage diverse groups of learners.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel to different service locations when required, and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.
