Role Description This is a full-time Travel Specialist role based in New Delhi, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Travel Specialist will handle end-to-end travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, and managing itineraries for individual and business clients. Daily responsibilities include assessing client needs, suggesting suitable travel options, confirming reservations, and ensuring accurate documentation such as tickets and confirmations. The role involves coordinating business travel requirements, resolving booking issues, and maintaining up-to-date records in travel management systems. The Travel Specialist will also provide responsive customer service, communicate clearly with clients and partners, and collaborate with internal teams to support smooth travel experiences.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Travel Management, including booking, itinerary planning, and coordination.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, support travelers, and resolve issues professionally.
Candidates should possess experience with Business Travel, including corporate policies, budgets, and approval processes.
Relevant skills such as attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with travel booking platforms, GDS or online travel tools, and basic proficiency with office software.
Prior experience in a travel agency, corporate travel, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
Post-secondary education in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is an advantage.
