Project Manager for water treatment

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Ahmedabad, focused on water and wastewater treatment projects. The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management for industrial water management projects. Responsibilities include coordinating engineering, procurement, logistics, and site execution teams to ensure timely project delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The role involves managing vendor and contractor relationships, monitoring expediting and inspection activities, and resolving technical or execution issues at site. The Project Manager will prepare project documentation, progress reports, and client updates, while driving continuous improvement in processes and project performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
Candidates should possess experience as an Expeditor, with capabilities in expediting and follow-up for procurement, vendor deliverables, and project materials.
Candidates should possess skills in Inspection, with knowledge of quality standards, site inspections, and compliance with technical specifications.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills, including coordination of material movement, transportation, and site deliveries.
Relevant technical background in mechanical, chemical, environmental engineering, or a related field; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience in industrial water or wastewater treatment projects, EPC environments, or process industries is highly beneficial.
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams on-site.
Proven ability to work safely at industrial sites, manage multiple concurrent projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
