About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Every once in a while, we come across moments so important that they go down to rewire the entire course of industry.
The assembly line did it to cars
UPI did it with payment
and now
Indian IT services are in one of those moments right now. (thanks to AI)
For the last 30 years, the model was to hire cheap engineers, sell hours to the clients, and keep the cut.
It worked BUT now AI is dismantling that model apart coz client want outcome not “hrs on jira tickets”
The good part is we’ve been operating like it since 2022
We started as a 2 member team and now we’re 50 members strong.
Primarily, we’re working on complex technological problems for US sports leagues and shipping products for proptech companies in the UAE.
All of that growth came from founder-led sales.
We purposefully delayed our first GTM hire as we wanted to solidify the delivery record, the proof and the positioning.
Now we believe we’re ready to point all of it at the market on purpose.
That’s the role. You’ll be the second person on the GTM team — working under our GTM lead, alongside the founders, building this motion from the ground up.
You are getting in early. The playbook isn’t written yet. You’ll help write it, and you’ll be the one running it every single day.
We are optimistic and while people think AI is taking away IT jobs, we think as ai gets better, more companies understand what technology can actually do for them, and the surface area of what we can sell expands with it.
We want to capture that with help of you!
You’ll be responsible for:
First thing first, this is a top-of-funnel role, not a script-reading BDR role. You’ll own the first half of the sales motion end to end.
Research target accounts, build lists, map the decision makers, and qualify who’s actually worth our time
Run outbound. Cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and whatever else works. This is the core of the job and you’ll be doing a lot of it
Book the meetings, prep the room. Account briefs, call notes, follow-ups that actually go out. Sit in on discovery, learn how the deals get won
Automate the parts of the job that deserve automating. Account research, list building, call prep, sequencing. The judgment stays yours
Feed the machine what it learns. Which messages land, which ICPs bite, which markets ignore us. You’re closest to the raw signal and we want to hear it
And eventually, the deals. The path here is: you get good at the front of the funnel, then you start running your own cycles
Who you’re:
0–2 years in a sales, gtm, or similar role. If you have zero experience but you’re sharp and hungry, make your case
an empathetic, thoughtful communicator. our cycles are long and trust compounds. You cannot win $200k+ contracts by applying pressure — and the first email you send sets that tone
tech curiosity. you do not need to write code. you do need to be genuinely interested in what we build, and willing to learn enough to talk about it without hiding behind buzzwords
self-sufficiency. you’ll have a manager, not a babysitter
this is probably not for you if
you expect a large support org around you to handle execution
you surface problems without bringing solutions
you move slowly, our competitor is AI agents
you need heavy hand-holding to get up to speed
you think outbound is beneath you
