Role Description The Full Stack Developer Intern (MERN) will work full time in a remote capacity, collaborating with developers and designers to build and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end interfaces, developing backend APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring responsive, accessible user experiences. The intern will assist in debugging, testing, and optimizing application performance, as well as contributing to code reviews and documentation. The role may also involve supporting AI automation projects, integrating third-party services, and learning best practices in software development and deployment workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development, including React and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for building responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development using Node.js, Express.js, and database integration (e.g., MongoDB) for robust server-side functionality.
Candidates should possess skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with an understanding of how front-end and back-end components work together in the MERN stack.
Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and frameworks are expected.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment are required.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or certification program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
