Production Team Lead

Speedways Rubber Company, Jalandhar, a leading manufacturer in the tyre industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead for Production with a proven track record in the Tyre industry.
The ideal candidate should have minimum of 15–20 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, with at least 5–7 years in senior leadership roles in Tyre Industry only.
Job Description
· Develop and implement production strategies to meet organizational goals
· Plan, monitor, and control production schedules to ensure timely delivery
· Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
· Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and quality teams for smooth operations
· Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives
· Monitor production KPIs and take corrective actions to meet targets
· Ensure continuous improvement in production methods, workflows, and systems
· Ensure adherence to quality standards, production specifications, and regulatory requirements
· Monitor quality control processes and address production defects or deviations
· Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility
· Lead, mentor, and manage production managers, supervisors, and team members
· Prepare production reports, capacity utilization reports, and performance dashboards for senior management
· Coordinate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align production with demand
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or relevant Engineering discipline.
15–20 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, with at least 5–7 years in senior leadership roles
Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, quality standards, and industrial safety.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
