Role Description The Tools & Fixture FPC Manufacturing role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves supporting the design, fabrication, and maintenance of tools and fixtures used in FPC production, ensuring they meet dimensional accuracy and process requirements. Day-to-day tasks include operating and setting up machining equipment, performing routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting issues with fixtures, and coordinating with production and engineering teams to improve throughput and reduce defects. The role also includes documenting processes, assisting with implementation of new fixtures, and participating in training activities to ensure proper usage and safety. Collaboration with supervisors and project teams to meet delivery schedules and maintain a clean, organized work environment is expected.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues with tools, fixtures, and production processes.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Training skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and support knowledge sharing on fixture usage and safety.
Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities to plan tasks, track progress, and support timely completion of tooling and fixture-related projects.
Candidates should possess Machining skills, including experience with milling, turning, drilling, and use of precision measuring instruments.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) are beneficial.
Experience in FPC or electronics manufacturing, familiarity with CAD drawings and basic fixture design, and knowledge of quality and safety standards are advantageous.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, follow standard operating procedures, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is required.
