Role Description The Finance Advisor is a full-time remote role responsible for providing clients with comprehensive financial guidance and recommendations. Day-to-day activities include assessing clients’ financial situations, developing and presenting tailored financial plans, and monitoring progress toward their goals. The Finance Advisor will analyze investments, retirement strategies, and cash flow needs, while explaining options in clear, accessible language. This role involves regular virtual meetings with clients, preparing reports and projections, staying informed about market developments, and complying with relevant regulations and firm policies. Collaboration with colleagues on complex cases and participation in ongoing professional development are also core aspects of this position.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs and design comprehensive strategies.
Solid foundation in Finance, including understanding of financial instruments, risk, and regulatory considerations.
Experience with Retirement Planning, including income strategies, tax implications, and long-term goal setting.
Knowledge of Investments, asset allocation, and portfolio management appropriate to varied client risk profiles.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible terms.
Demonstrated integrity, client-service orientation, and respect for confidentiality.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client engagements.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, ChFC) are a plus.
Proficiency with financial planning software, spreadsheets, and virtual meeting tools.
