Role Description
We are seeking a Mathematics Tutor for a full-time/Part time role. The tutor will be responsible for conducting engaging online mathematics tutoring sessions for IB, IGCSE, AS/A levels. They will assist students in topics such as algebra and other mathematical concepts, provide structured guidance, and help foster problem-solving skills. The tutor will support students in their learning journey, encourage self-reliance, track progress, and adjust teaching methods as needed for effective results.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Mathematics, with strong knowledge of foundational and advanced concepts, including Algebra
Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring with the ability to adapt lessons to cater to individual learning styles
Excellent Communication skills to effectively explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner
Strong organizational skills and the ability to foster an engaging, interactive online learning environment
Patience, adaptability, and a student-focused approach to teaching
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience teaching high school students or preparation for standardized tests is a plus
