About The Company
PraecisAI Corp. is an innovative technology enterprise dedicated to transforming cardiac healthcare through cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. Our mission is to deliver advanced cardiac diagnostics and preventive care to rural and remote communities worldwide, where access to specialized medical services is limited or nonexistent. Leveraging our proprietary physiological vector technology, we enable early prediction and detection of cardiac diseases, often before symptoms manifest. This proactive approach aims to reduce the global burden of heart disease, which remains the leading cause of death globally, by preventing disability and improving quality of life. Our flagship product, CardioSense, is poised to revolutionize medical practice by shifting from reactive treatment to predictive healthcare. PraecisAI has established strategic collaborations with top universities across San Francisco, London, Berne, and Manila, fostering innovation and scientific excellence. We are committed to building a diverse, motivated team of professionals who are passionate about leveraging technology to make a meaningful impact on global health.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, curiosity-driven co-founding Machine Learning Scientist to join our dynamic team. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models tailored for medical data analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including computer and electrical engineers and biostatisticians, to develop algorithms that enhance our cardiac diagnostic platform. Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing machine learning models, implementing neural networks, performing pattern recognition, and conducting statistical analyses on both structured and unstructured datasets. You will be expected to write clean, efficient code, perform rigorous experiments, evaluate model performance, and refine models iteratively based on quantitative metrics. Your work will directly support the integration of advanced AI solutions into our existing systems, ultimately helping to save lives and improve health outcomes worldwide. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a paradigm-shifting initiative in global health technology.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in machine learning, computer science, and algorithms, with demonstrated experience in implementing scalable, efficient solutions. Practical knowledge of statistical methods for experimental design, hypothesis testing, and performance evaluation of models is essential. Hands-on experience with popular machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn, along with proficiency in Python programming, is required. Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with real-world electronic datasets is highly desirable. The candidate should have the ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating excellent communication skills. A master's degree or higher in machine learning, computer science, data science, or a related field, with fluency in mathematics and statistical analysis, is preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms tailored for medical data analysis to support cardiac diagnostics. Design neural network architectures and train models using large-scale structured and unstructured datasets. Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance, including accuracy, robustness, and generalizability, and refine models based on quantitative metrics. Collaborate with engineers and biostatisticians to integrate AI models into existing pipelines and systems, ensuring seamless deployment and operation. Engage in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data augmentation to improve model efficacy. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of methodologies, experiments, and results. Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, incorporating innovative techniques into our platform. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our proprietary physiological vector technology and support the scaling of our cardiac diagnostic solutions to global markets.
