Role Description The Land Acquisition Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating land parcels, conducting due diligence, and assessing legal, regulatory, and financial feasibility. The Land Acquisition Manager will negotiate with landowners and stakeholders, structure acquisition and joint venture deals, and prepare proposals and documentation for management approval. Daily activities include market research, site visits, coordination with legal, finance, and technical teams, and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, consultants, and partners. The role also involves tracking market trends, monitoring project timelines related to land acquisition, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Land Use Planning and Acquisitions skills, with experience in identifying, evaluating, and securing land parcels.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to assess feasibility, risks, and opportunities.
Candidates should possess Finance-related skills, including basic financial modeling, valuation understanding, and deal structuring.
Relevant experience in real estate, infrastructure, or related sectors, preferably in land acquisition, development, or project planning.
Good knowledge of local regulations, land laws, documentation processes, and liaison with government authorities.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
