Position Overview
We are looking for a UG & PG Domestic Education Counsellor who can guide students and parents through course selection, college selection, admissions, and application processes across India.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, be comfortable handling leads, and have the ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling
• Counsel students and parents regarding UG and PG courses across colleges and universities in India.
• Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals.
• Guide students on courses, colleges, eligibility, fees, admission processes, and career opportunities.
• Recommend suitable academic options based on student requirements.
Lead Management
• Handle inbound and outbound student enquiries.
• Follow up with prospective students through calls and other communication channels.
• Convert enquiries into counselling sessions and admissions.
• Maintain regular communication with students and parents.
Admission & Application
• Assist students with application forms, documentation, and submissions.
• Coordinate with colleges and universities during the admission process.
• Track applications, offers, and admission status.
• Ensure students receive timely updates throughout the admission journey.
Student Support
• Resolve student and parent queries related to courses, fees, admissions, scholarships, eligibility, and admission timelines.
• Coordinate campus visits whenever required.
CRM & Reporting
• Maintain accurate student and lead records in CRM and MS Excel.
• Track follow-ups, counselling activities, applications, and conversions.
• Prepare basic daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Target Achievement
• Achieve daily and monthly counselling, conversion, and admission targets.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with leads.
• Work effectively in a sales and target-oriented environment.
Candidate Requirements
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in UG/PG counselling will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Prior experience in student counselling and lead handling.
• MS Excel knowledge is mandatory.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
• Comfortable working with targets and KPIs.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Student-focused, proactive, and willing to learn.
