As a Strategic Initiatives PMO and Workforce Agility Program Director within Chase Home Lending, you will lead the firm's most consequential workforce transformation efforts across all Home Lending business teams while overseeing the Strategic Initiatives PMO that drives planning, execution, integration and adoption of high-impact strategic initiatives. You will establish scalable program infrastructure, provide centralized oversight across initiatives, and ensure measurable outcomes through strong governance, disciplined execution, and stakeholder alignment. You will directly influence how work is structured, how AI, automation and emerging technologies reshape work, organizational structures, and customer experiences, and how our teams are positioned to perform at their best. This is a high-visibility leadership role that sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, people, and technology — and your work will have a direct impact on the organization's performance and bottom line.
Job responsibilities
Lead multiple cross-organizational programs across Home Lending, driving workforce agility and transformation from ideation through execution and delivering measurable business results.
Partner with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders to align workforce agility priorities with Home Lending's long-term strategy and financial objectives.
Lead workforce impact assessments to identify role, capacity, skill, organizational, and leadership implications associated with transformation initiatives.
Partner with HR, Employee Readiness, Communications, and business teams to coordinate workforce readiness strategies that enable successful adoption of future-state operating models.
Own the Strategic Initiatives PMO portfolio across Home Lending, providing a centralized hub for program oversight, coordination, and support.
Establish and maintain an integrated view across strategic initiatives, including plans, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and risks, using consistent program management methodologies.
Drive planning and execution of complex strategic initiatives, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables aligned to business and customer needs.
Serve as a strategic thought partner to business leaders, translating complex operational challenges into structured and executable programs.
Manage and develop program staff, fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
Monitor program health, progress, and risks, proactively addressing issues, resolving conflicts, and adjusting priorities to maintain execution momentum.
Manage program budgets, track spend against plan, and optimize resource allocation to maximize business outcomes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on program management concepts and 10+ years applied experience
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-organizational programs with significant financial, reputational, or operational impact
Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, across matrixed business environments
Strong conflict resolution, change management, and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate complex tradeoffs and competing priorities
Experience managing program budgets, resource planning, and capacity management across multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to develop and articulate a well-structured business case, including financial and bottom-line impact analysis
Track record of building cohesive, high-performing teams through strong communication, coaching, and inclusive leadership
Deep understanding of business process, operational risk, and controls with the ability to drive a risk and compliance agenda
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience leading workforce transformation, agility, or future-of-work programs within a large financial services or regulated industry environment
Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow design, intelligent automation, or workforce productivity technologies
Knowledge of agile delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) applied in business or operations contexts
Experience operating as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to senior business leaders across multiple functions
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Operations Management, or a related field
