Role Description The Design Engineer (Female/Male) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The engineer will be responsible for developing and refining product designs, creating detailed drawings and models, and ensuring that designs meet functional, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients to understand requirements, performing engineering calculations, preparing CAD models and technical documentation, and coordinating with fabrication or production teams for successful implementation. The role also involves troubleshooting design issues, optimizing existing solutions, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project. The engineer is expected to manage project timelines, maintain organized records, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design to create functional, efficient, and reliable solutions.
Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering expertise to perform relevant calculations, material selections, and structural assessments.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering where applicable to integrated or electro-mechanical products.
Candidates should possess effective problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Candidates should possess good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and production teams.
Relevant engineering degree or diploma (e.g., Mechanical or related field) is preferred.
Prior experience in product development, manufacturing, or design consultancy in Ahmedabad or similar markets is an advantage.
