Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, focused on maintenance of shot blast machines and associated equipment. The role involves performing routine inspections, identifying wear or damage, and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs to keep machines operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include executing preventive maintenance plans, replacing parts, checking alignment and calibration, and documenting all maintenance activities. The maintenance technician will troubleshoot equipment issues, respond to breakdowns, coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance, and follow safety standards and company procedures during all work.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance of industrial machinery.
Candidates should possess proven experience in Preventive Maintenance, including planned inspections and servicing.
Candidates should possess hands-on capabilities in Maintenance & Repair, including part replacement and adjustments.
Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience in industrial maintenance.
Knowledge of shot blast machines or similar heavy industrial equipment is an advantage.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production and engineering teams.
