Role Description The Travel Agency Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This role involves assisting clients with booking domestic and international flights, hotels, and customized holiday packages. The specialist will provide detailed travel information, suggest itineraries, handle changes or cancellations, and ensure all bookings comply with client preferences and budget. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, managing reservations, coordinating guided tour options, and supporting business travel arrangements. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, following company processes, and collaborating with team members to deliver a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
Experience in travel agency operations, including itinerary planning and booking management.
Knowledge of guided tours, holiday packages, and destination-based travel options.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries, issues, and special requests professionally.
Sales and negotiation skills to recommend suitable travel products and close bookings effectively.
Understanding of business travel requirements, including corporate policies and travel documentation.
Good communication skills in English and local languages; ability to explain travel information clearly.
Proficiency with reservation systems, online booking tools, and basic office software.
Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Previous experience in the travel or hospitality industry is preferred.
Relevant diploma or degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
