Kaleb Madlyn Care Solutions Pty Ltd (KMCS) is a registered NDIS provider committed to delivering respectful, person-centred and culturally responsive disability supports.
As we continue to establish and grow our organisation, we are looking for an experienced, motivated and well-connected Business Development, Marketing & Engagement Manager to help build and grow our referral network, develop strong industry partnerships and create genuine opportunities for participants to connect with our services.
This is an important growth position within KMCS and is not an entry-level marketing role.
We are specifically looking for someone who already understands the NDIS sector and has established professional relationships and networks within the disability, health, mental health and community-services sectors.
About the Role
The Business Development & Engagement Manager, you will take the lead and be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with potential referral partners and representing KMCS professionally within the community.
We are particularly interested in someone who already has established connections with Support Coordinators, Recovery Coaches, hospital social workers and discharge teams, allied health professionals, Plan Managers, community organisations, mental health services, NDIS providers and other relevant referral partners.
You will be confident approaching organisations, introducing KMCS, arranging meetings, following up opportunities and developing professional relationships over time.
This position is about more than advertising. We need someone who understands relationship-based business development and knows how to build trust and maintain professional connections as well as can also build a strong, recognisable online presence for KMCS.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with NDIS referral partners and stakeholders.
Actively engaging with your existing professional networks.
Developing new relationships with Support Coordinators, Recovery Coaches, allied health professionals, hospitals, community organisations and other relevant services.
Introducing and promoting KMCS services professionally.
Identifying potential participant referral, partnership and collaboration opportunities.
Developing a strong and sustainable referral pipeline.
Conducting professional outreach by phone, email, LinkedIn and face-to-face engagement.
Arranging and attending stakeholder meetings.
Attending relevant NDIS, disability and community-sector networking events.
Following up enquiries, leads and professional contacts.
Developing business development and community engagement strategies.
Identifying opportunities to increase awareness of KMCS within the sector.
Maintaining accurate records of stakeholder contacts and engagement activities.
Working closely with KMCS management regarding growth opportunities and priorities.
Providing regular feedback about market needs, referral trends and potential opportunities.
Representing KMCS professionally and ethically at all times.
Social Media, Marketing & Online Growth
A major part of this position will also be building a strong and recognisable online presence for KMCS.
The successful applicant will:
Develop and implement KMCS's marketing and social media strategy
.Manage and grow our presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms
.Create professional, engaging and relatable content
.Develop posts, reels, short-form videos, stories and campaigns
.Understand current social media trends and identify opportunities for high-performing and potentially viral content
.Grow followers, reach and engagement organically
.Increase KMCS's visibility within the NDIS and wider community
.Build our LinkedIn professional network and connect with relevant NDIS professionals and organisations
. Create content that speaks to participants, families, Support Coordinators and referral partners
.Promote KMCS services, community activities, events and achievements
.Develop useful and educational NDIS-related content
.Support the development of marketing materials and campaigns
.Monitor digital performance, enquiries and engagement
.Track which campaigns and platforms are generating genuine enquiries
.Maintain consistent KMCS branding across our digital platforms
.Provide reporting on reach, engagement, follower growth, enquiries and leads
.Work towards establishing KMCS as a trusted and recognised NDIS provider
.Ensure marketing activities respect privacy, consent and relevant NDIS requirements
.
We would particularly value someone who can demonstrate previous social media accounts, brands or campaigns they have successfully grown.
First Month - Demonstrating Capability & Building the Pipeline
The first month will be an important period for establishing the foundations of the role.
We want to see how your existing experience, professional relationships and industry knowledge can contribute to the growth of KMCS.
During your first month, you will be expected to:
Develop an initial business development and stakeholder engagement pla

s.Conduct consistent follow-up

e.Maintain clear records of your activities and outcome

Weekly activity reports will be required.
Reports should provide a clear overview of stakeholder contacts, meetings, follow-ups, leads, potential referral opportunities, partnerships being developed, outcomes and planned next steps.
An end-of-month review will also be conducted to discuss progress, opportunities, challenges and priorities for the following month.
We understand that genuine professional relationships and participant referrals take time.
We are not expecting guaranteed participants or unrealistic promises.
What we do expect is demonstrated activity, accountability, initiative, professional engagement, consistent follow-up and clear evidence that meaningful relationships and a referral pipeline are being developed.

Experience within disability, mental health, community services, healthcare or a related sector will be highly regarded.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can genuinely demonstrate that they understand the sector, know how to build relationships and already have professional networks they can engage.
Work Arrangement
Part-time l Remote & Community-Based l Brisbane, Queensland
This is a remote and community-based position.
The successful applicant will work remotely while regularly travelling throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas for stakeholder meetings, networking events, community engagement and relationship-building activities.
The role therefore requires someone who is comfortable working independently while remaining accountable and communicating regularly with KMCS management.
