Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Energy Engineer role based in Ahmedabad and in Mumbai. The Energy Engineer will conduct energy audits, analyze energy consumption data, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities include developing energy-saving proposals, performing technical calculations, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting implementation of recommended measures. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines. The Energy Engineer will also monitor project performance, track savings, and contribute to continuous improvement of energy management practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Energy Engineering and Energy systems, with the ability to evaluate efficiency solutions.
Proficiency in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering principles relevant to Utility systems, HVAC, industrial processes, and building services.
Solid Analytical Skills for data collection, modeling, forecasting, and performance assessment.
Experience or knowledge in Energy Management, including monitoring, reporting, and optimization of energy use.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards, and to prepare clear technical documentation.
Comfort working on-site, including field inspections, measurements, and coordination with project stakeholders.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., energy modeling, Excel-based analysis) is beneficial.
