Role Description The Structural Design Engineer will work on-site in Dehradun in a full-time capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and analyze structural components for technology-related infrastructure and facilities. Daily responsibilities include performing structural analysis and calculations, preparing detailed design drawings and models using CAD tools, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves coordinating with civil and structural engineering stakeholders, reviewing design inputs, and providing technical support during construction and implementation phases. The engineer will also participate in design reviews, optimize designs for safety and cost-effectiveness, and contribute to documentation and reports that support project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply fundamental principles to practical design challenges.
Proficiency in Structural Analysis, including load calculations, stability assessments, and performance evaluation of structural systems.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including AutoCAD, for preparing detailed drawings, 2D/3D models, and design documentation.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and specifications.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Experience with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, or similar) and prior project experience in infrastructure or industrial facilities is an advantage.
