Role Description The Network Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area. This role is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Daily tasks include responding to support tickets, diagnosing and troubleshooting network issues, and implementing fixes or escalations as needed. The Network Support Engineer will assist with network configuration changes, updates, and documentation, while ensuring network security and performance standards are met. The role also involves collaborating with other technical teams, providing user support, and contributing to continuous improvement of network reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering to manage, configure, and optimize network infrastructure.
Candidates should possess Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to handle incidents, resolve connectivity problems, and assist users effectively.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills to help protect systems, monitor for threats, and support implementation of security policies.
Relevant skills such as familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and basic firewall configuration are beneficial.
Previous experience in a network support or IT infrastructure role, ideally in an on-site environment, is preferred.
A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, the ability to document work clearly, and a willingness to learn independently are important for success in this role.
