Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Bengaluru. The Architect will design residential and mixed-use spaces, prepare concept designs, detailed drawings, and architectural plans, and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing design proposals, coordinating with structural, MEP, and interior teams, and supporting integration of design with construction schedules. The role involves reviewing project progress, addressing design-related issues on-site, preparing documentation for approvals, and working closely with project managers to align design intent with budget and timelines. The Architect will also collaborate on design improvements, material selection, and sustainability considerations.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to create functional, safe, and visually appealing spaces.
Experience in Project Management, including coordination with cross-functional teams, timeline management, and documentation.
Understanding of Integration between design and construction processes, ensuring seamless collaboration with engineering and site teams.
Familiarity with Software Development concepts is a plus for working with design, BIM, or project management software integrations.
Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and related visualization software.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Bengaluru and surrounding regions.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
Strong communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment.
