Role Description The Junior Officer in Plastiblands India Ltd at Legrand (India) is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik. The role typically involves supporting production and operations in the plastics-related manufacturing area, monitoring daily processes, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The Junior Officer may assist in coordinating with cross-functional teams such as quality control, maintenance, and inventory to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities can include maintaining accurate records, preparing basic reports, supporting implementation of process improvements, and following standard operating procedures. The role also requires active participation in routine reviews, assisting senior team members, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of manufacturing or industrial operations, preferably in plastics or electrical components.
Basic understanding of quality standards, safety practices, and standard operating procedures within a production environment.
Strong observational, documentation, and reporting skills to track production activities and process deviations.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
Ability to learn and work with basic computer applications and enterprise systems used for production and inventory tracking.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial production, or a related technical field is preferred.
Capacity to work on-site in Nashik, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Prior internship or entry-level experience in a factory or industrial environment is an advantage.
