Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fire & Safety role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The role involves inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection and fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting fire risk assessments, advising clients on fire prevention and life safety measures, preparing inspection reports, and coordinating with installation and maintenance teams. The role also includes responding to safety concerns, supporting incident investigations, and delivering basic safety orientations or training where needed. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure that all fire and life safety requirements are consistently met.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in fire safety and fire prevention, with experience in identifying hazards and implementing preventive measures.
Candidates should possess knowledge of fire protection systems and fire suppression systems, including inspection, testing, and maintenance practices.
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of life safety principles, emergency procedures, and compliance with relevant fire and building codes.
Relevant technical education or certification in fire and safety engineering, occupational safety, or a related field is beneficial.
Experience in on-site fire and safety operations within industrial, commercial, or residential environments is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret safety standards, technical drawings, and system documentation, with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work safely in varied site conditions.
