Security Manager

Role Description The Security Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based at the pre-opening Lemon Tree Hotels property in Kevadia. The Security Manager will oversee daily security operations, including managing security personnel, monitoring access control, and ensuring physical safety across guest areas, back-of-house spaces, and perimeter zones. This role involves developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting regular risk assessments, managing incident response, and coordinating with local authorities and emergency services when required. The Security Manager will supervise CCTV and alarm systems, maintain incident logs, conduct training and awareness sessions for hotel staff, and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The position requires close collaboration with the hotel’s leadership team to support smooth pre-opening activities and ongoing operations while maintaining a secure environment for guests, employees, and assets.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Physical Security and Security Management, including supervision of guards, access control, and incident handling.
Working knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity principles relevant to hotel operations and guest data protection.
Ability to collaborate with IT teams on Network Security measures supporting surveillance, access control systems, and secure communication.
Experience in developing and implementing security policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans in hospitality or similar environments.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing security teams and contractors in a 24/7 operational setting.
Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and documentation.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with management, staff, guests, and external agencies.
Relevant professional certifications or training in security management or safety are preferred.
Prior experience in hotel security or facilities security, especially in pre-opening or new property setups, is an advantage.
