Role Description The Sales Specialist volunteer role is a remote position focused on promoting Lalit Common Service’s offerings to potential users and partners. Day-to-day tasks include reaching out to prospects through calls, messages, and online platforms, explaining available services, and answering inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. The Sales Specialist will help build and manage relationships with community members, track outreach activities, and provide feedback to improve service delivery. The role also involves assisting with basic training or guidance for new users or volunteers, collaborating with team members, and following structured processes to meet outreach and engagement goals.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with community members and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability in Sales and Sales Management to support outreach, conversion, and relationship-building efforts.
Experience or interest in Training to guide new users or volunteers in understanding services and processes.
Comfort with remote work tools, basic computer literacy, and ability to maintain clear records of outreach activities.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Prior experience in community service, non-profit work, or public-facing roles is beneficial but not required.
