Join Amazon Health Services' One Medical team and shape the systems that determine how customer generated health data and third party health data drive better health outcomes for patients. You will define product strategy and drive execution for the platforms that ingest, normalize, and surface health data from diverse sources — wearables, connected devices, lab integrations, and patient reported inputs — turning fragmented signals into actionable clinical and consumer insights. These systems power experiences across the care continuum: enabling providers to make more informed decisions, helping patients engage meaningfully with their own health, and unlocking data driven personalization across Amazon Health Services.
Health data is unlike typical consumer data: it is governed by HIPAA and evolving state level privacy regulations, arrives in inconsistent formats (HL7, FHIR, proprietary device APIs), carries clinical significance that demands accuracy, and requires careful consent and access controls. Every product decision you define and measure operates under these constraints.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Tech to own the product strategy for how One Medical ingests, reconciles, and leverages customer generated and third party health data to improve care delivery and patient outcomes. You will define the problems, shape the solutions, and drive outcomes across data ingestion pipelines, health record enrichment, data quality and normalization, and surfacing insights to clinicians and patients — working directly with engineers and scientists building the underlying data platforms and ML systems.
Key job responsibilities
Define the product vision and multi year roadmap for customer generated health data systems: data ingestion, normalization, enrichment, and clinical surfacing
Translate complex health data and regulatory constraints (HIPAA, FHIR/HL7 interoperability, consent management, state privacy laws) into product requirements that engineering teams can build against
Design and own the end to end metrics framework for data quality, completeness, and clinical utility within your domain
Work with Clinical Operations, Provider Experience, Compliance, Privacy, and Platform Engineering partners to provide solutions and drive improvements
Partner with Applied Scientists and Engineers to define success criteria for data reconciliation models, insight generation algorithms, and automated triage systems
Influence without authority across multiple teams and organizations to drive outcomes in a matrixed environment
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare
Experience with ML/AI product management — defining success criteria for models, managing model lifecycle, A/B testing ML systems
Master's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
