Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Zonal Sales Manager role based in Panipat. The Zonal Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within the assigned zone, including planning and executing sales strategies, setting targets, and driving business growth across branches and channels. The role involves managing and mentoring sales teams, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring consistent achievement of revenue and profitability goals. The manager will build and maintain relationships with key customers, local partners, and stakeholders, while coordinating with product, marketing, and operations teams to support market penetration. Daily responsibilities include reviewing sales reports, conducting field visits, implementing compliance and risk guidelines, and identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and market share.
Qualifications
Proven experience in regional or zonal sales management in banking, financial services, or related sectors, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership abilities, including team building, performance management, and coaching of field and branch sales teams.
Solid understanding of retail banking, lending, or investment products, and regional market dynamics relevant to Panipat and surrounding areas.
Capability in sales planning, forecasting, territory management, and data-driven decision-making using sales analytics and reporting tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills to engage customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Commitment to regulatory compliance, ethical sales practices, and risk management standards in financial services.
Ability to work on-site with frequent field travel within the zone, handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Comfort with using CRM systems, productivity tools, and basic MS Office applications for reporting and coordination.
