About the Role
Mortgage Capital Trading (MCT) is seeking an experienced Vice President of Product to lead product strategy, innovation, and execution across the company's financial technology solutions supporting mortgage capital markets.
This executive-level role will be responsible for defining product vision, managing product strategy, improving customer solutions, and delivering technology-driven capabilities that support institutional market participants.
The ideal candidate brings strong product leadership experience, deep understanding of financial technology, and the ability to translate complex market requirements into scalable products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the company's product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap.
Lead product development initiatives supporting mortgage capital markets and financial technology solutions.
Identify customer needs, market trends, and emerging opportunities to guide product priorities.
Translate business requirements and market insights into scalable product strategies.
Partner closely with engineering, technology, sales, marketing, operations, finance, and executive leadership.
Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept development through launch and continuous improvement.
Develop product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
Evaluate competitive landscapes, industry trends, and technology developments.
Establish product management processes, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks.
Support the development of innovative technology solutions for institutional clients.
Build and mentor high-performing product teams.
Present product strategies, priorities, and recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, FinTech, financial services, capital markets, or related technology fields.
Significant leadership experience in product organizations at the VP, Head of Product, or equivalent level.
Proven experience developing and executing product roadmaps for technology-driven solutions.
Strong understanding of financial markets, mortgage technology, capital markets, or institutional financial workflows.
Experience managing complex products involving data, platforms, APIs, analytics, or financial infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to work across technical, commercial, and operational teams.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience building and scaling product organizations.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
