Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Pattambi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role also involves monitoring costs, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, handling tax-related documentation, and collaborating with management to provide clear financial insights. The Accountant will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely reporting and support decision-making with reliable financial data.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Experience with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and basic tax documentation.
Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage.
