Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Event Manager role based in Pune City. The Event Manager will oversee end-to-end event planning and execution, including understanding client requirements, developing event concepts, and preparing detailed proposals and budgets. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and in-house technical teams, managing logistics, schedules, and resources, and ensuring all equipment and event elements are set up according to plan. The role involves supervising event setup and live operations, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The Event Manager will also handle client communication, post-event feedback, documentation, and reporting to support continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong event planning and coordination skills, including experience managing timelines, budgets, and logistics for corporate events, activations, and social functions.
Vendor and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of collaborating effectively with suppliers, production teams, and client representatives.
Operational and technical understanding of event setups, including sound, lighting, staging, and in-house equipment usage.
Client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to present concepts, negotiate, and maintain professional relationships.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability, especially in fast-paced, live-event environments.
Relevant experience in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field; prior work with corporate and lifestyle events is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
Proficiency with basic office and event management software; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
Ability to work on-site across venues in Pune and occasionally outside the city, as required.
