Role Description The Video Editor role is a remote contract position focused on creating polished video content for TJ Corporation, Tj Academy, and Tj Studios. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, editing sequences, trimming clips, and synchronizing audio to meet project requirements and brand guidelines. The Video Editor will perform color grading, apply visual enhancements, and integrate motion graphics and basic graphic elements. Responsibilities also include collaborating with producers and other creatives, managing project files, meeting deadlines, and revising content based on feedback to ensure consistent quality across all deliverables.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for a variety of formats and platforms.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and style alignment.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and branding.
Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and related media tools.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating with distributed teams and clients.
Prior work or portfolio demonstrating video editing and post-production capabilities; experience with educational or studio content is a plus.
