Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Technician role based in Ahmedabad. The Network Technician will install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including switches, routers, and cabling. Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, diagnosing issues, and resolving connectivity problems to minimize downtime. The role involves providing technical support to users, documenting network configurations and procedures, and assisting with upgrades and changes to the network infrastructure. The Network Technician will also collaborate with senior engineers to implement security measures, follow IT policies, and support compliance with organizational standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and Network Infrastructure.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills.
Candidates should possess foundational Network Security skills.
Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and cabling in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and basic routing and switching concepts.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
