Role Description The Article Trainee CA role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The trainee will assist in statutory and tax audits, internal audits, and preparation of working papers and documentation under supervision. Daily responsibilities include maintaining books of accounts, supporting preparation and filing of tax returns, and helping with GST, TDS, and other compliance-related tasks. The role also involves conducting basic research on accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory changes, and preparing summaries or draft reports. The trainee will coordinate with seniors and clients for data collection, ensure proper record-keeping, and participate in learning sessions to strengthen professional and technical skills.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (registered with ICAI) and eligible for articleship training.
Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, taxation basics, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with accounting and tax software.
Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial data and regulations.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
High level of integrity, professional ethics, and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
Preferred: Prior internship or practical exposure in audit, accounting, or taxation, and familiarity with Indian regulatory and compliance frameworks.
