Oracle PLSQL Lead Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Oracle Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Oracle Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Oracle-based solutions to meet our business needs. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver high quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize Oracle database solutions, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, ETL processes, data migration scripts, and performance-tuned database objects.
Develop and support Oracle database solutions, including packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views, and sequences, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Create and maintain database migration scripts, schema updates, release deployment packages, and automated database deployment processes.
Design, build, and support ETL workflows, data transformation processes, validation frameworks, and batch data processing solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, data quality concerns, application integration challenges, and performance bottlenecks across environments.
Perform database performance tuning and optimization using execution plans, indexing strategies, partitioning, optimizer statistics, and Oracle diagnostic and monitoring tools.
Support CI/CD initiatives, implementing automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and compliance practices for database solutions.
Develop and support database unit testing, regression testing, data validation testing, and automated test support for SQL, PL/SQL, ETL, and data migration changes.
Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate SQL and PL/SQL development, code review, troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Experience in designing tables, data analysis, wiring complex queries (SQL and PL/SQL), performing tuning and table partitions.
Experience with GitHub Copilot or other Dev Assist tools and capabilities
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot and debug issues.
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization to ensure code quality and efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience as an Oracle developer, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex database solutions
Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to affectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
Experience with Git and continuous integration / continuous deployment pipelines
Nice to have
Oracle Certification
Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, SQL Server)
Experience of using Tableau with Oracle
Starburst or other Data virtualization technology experience
Python Development experience
