Technical Project Coordinator / Associate Project Manager
Part-Time / Contract | San Diego, CA | Onsite
We are looking for a smart, proactive, and highly communicative Technical Project Coordinator / Associate Project Manager based in the San Diego area to support client-facing technology projects.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, understanding business problems, documenting requirements, and coordinating with remote engineering teams.
You will act as the local bridge between our U.S.-based clients and our technology delivery team.
This role is particularly suitable for a graduate student, recent graduate, or early-career professional with a background in technology, project management, business analytics, engineering management, information systems, or a related field.
What You'll Do
Attend client meetings in and around San Diego, both in person and virtually.
Understand client requirements, workflows, priorities, and business challenges.
Ask the right follow-up questions to clarify requirements and expectations.
Convert meetings and discussions into clear, structured documentation.
Prepare:
Meeting Minutes (MoM)
Business and Functional Requirements
User Stories
Workflow / Process Documentation
Action Items and Follow-up Notes
Coordinate with developers, technical leads, and management.
Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to the technical team.
Track action items, dependencies, risks, and project progress.
Participate in demos, feedback sessions, and requirement-validation meetings.
Follow up with both clients and internal teams to keep projects moving.
Represent the organization professionally during client interactions.
What We're Looking For
Currently based in San Diego, California, or nearby.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence interacting directly with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into clear documentation.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Basic understanding of software development and technology projects.
Comfortable working with distributed / offshore development teams.
Ability to attend occasional in-person client meetings in San Diego.
Self-driven, responsible, and comfortable working independently.
